We ordered the top competitors and did a water absorption test. Watch our water test on the Liberator and the Throws of Passion. The Liberator did so badly in our water absorption test, we thought we might have tested the wrong side! So we poured some water on the silky side to see if we just were not getting their concept - see the result here. Our conclusion? There are NO blankets on the market with a water proof layer which also absorbs the liquid so you don't get a puddle pooling on top and sliding off the edges. We are going to solve that problem!
